Solar Boat

The Sunrice is an electro-solar boat, 100% silent, very safe and stable, allowing a pure and relaxing contact with the Sado river and its biodiversity.

How does it work?

The sun is the main source of energy. At the top of the Sunrice, there are solar panels that produce energy. This is accumulated in batteries that, in turn, feed the two motors. So it does not pollute the water or the atmosphere. It has a hull purposely designed not to leave a trail, since the objective is not to agitate the waters, thus protecting the existing fauna and flora. It has a capacity for 12 people, including the skipper, and sails at a cruising speed of 6 knots.

The Sunrice is also 100% Portuguese because it was built by a national company, Sunconcept, whose mission is to contribute to the ecosystem-friendly nautical mobility by producing electro-solar boats.
Congratulations Sunconcept for preserving the environment by manufacturing ecologically correct, sustainable and economically profitable solutions!
